The Sheffield Inclusive Recovery Cities Toolkit was developed in 2025 following extensive consultation with local residents as part of National Recovery Month. These conversations captured valuable insight into lived experience, recovery journeys and the support needed across communities in Sheffield.
The toolkit has been designed as a practical resource for organisations, services and community groups. It provides guidance, tools and insight to help embed recovery principles into everyday practice, strengthen partnership working and improve outcomes for individuals and communities.
By placing lived experience, inclusion and connection at its core, the toolkit supports Sheffield’s ambition to build a recovery system that works for everyone.
