This year’s recovery month was a huge success for a variety of reasons, each year members of the Recovery Forum never fail to (out of their own time or in addition to their day jobs) to pull together a variety of events that have helped us collectively raise awareness that recovery from addiction IS possible and to promote what Sheffield Recovery Community has to offer.
In addition to this, we also
- launched the new recovery directory Sheffield Recovery Directory
- Launched the Sheffield Inclusive Recovery City campaign Sheffield Inclusive Recovery City – Sheffield Recovery Directory
- launched SWIPE SWIPE Sheffield Women’s Individual Personal Experience Recovery Network – Sheffield Recovery Directory who also went on to win this year’s recovery street film festival https://rsff.co.uk/ with the film ‘Don’t Underestimate a woman in Recovery’ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5WdM2bsZ9k
None of this would have been possible without the passion and dedication from members of the Recovery Forum, so for that we would just like to say a massive thank you and WELL DONE.
As you are aware, measuring success is vital – I have still got quite a few feedback forms to process, but if you haven’t had a chance to complete one yet for all the events you either took part in or supported can I ask that for each one please
