Project 6 is an award-winning voluntary sector drug and alcohol charity working across South and West Yorkshire. We have been delivering services for people experiencing challenges connected to drug and alcohol use and multiple disadvantage in our local communities for over 35 years.
In Sheffield, the ARC is a recovery community that provides hope, choice and opportunities for adults in or aiming for recovery (making changes to their alcohol and other drug use). We run a timetable of groups 6 days a week with the help of volunteers who have lived experience and are in recovery of dependency. The ARC understands recovery as more of a life change that encompasses self-worth, confidence, meaningful, healthy relationships with yourself and others and wellbeing.
